NGC 7635
AKA Bubble Nebula, Const: Cassiopeia, Type: Emission Nebula, Mag:
11.0, Size 15'x8'
- 2004-Jan-26 - HX916 image of
NGC 7635 (Meade LX10 OTA at ~f/4.6
on G11, HaRGB of 120 minutes unbinned Halpha (12x10) mostly
from the back yard, 55 minutes each RGB (3x10 minutes from
Anza + 5x5 minutes from LBV) all binned 2x2, STV guided,
dark frames applied). Processing: AIP (dark calibration,
stacking, gradient correction, background equalization),
MaxIm (background flattening) .
- 2003-Sept-21 - HX916
image of NGC 7635 (Meade LX10 OTA at ~f/4.6
on G11, LRGB of 30 minutes Halpha luminance (3x10 minutes
unbinned) and 25 minutes each RGB (5x5 minutes binned 2x2),
STV guided, dark frames applied, all images from
Anza). Processing: I did my standard LRGB processing and
then Pat Knoll did some additional work in PhotoShop. This
will do until I get smoother Halpha images.
- 2003-Aug-23 - HX916 image of
NGC 7635 (Meade LX10 OTA at ~f/4.6
on G11, 30 minutes total exposure [a stack of 3 unbinned 10
minute images with H-alpha filter], STV guided, dark frames
applied, from Little Blair Valley [seeing 5, transparency 4
(intermittent clouds)]). Processing: AIP (dark calibration
and stacking), MaxIm (DDP - FFT Low Pass, Medium), PaintShop
(cropped).
- 2002-Aug-12 - HX916 image of NGC 7635 (f/5.2, 16 minutes total
exposure [a stack of 8 2 minute images], STV guided, binned 2x2,
dark and flat frames applied, performed a log contrast stretch
in AIP, from Anza (OCA) [seeing 6, transparency 6, tracking
1.5X, 0.8Y @ 1 sec]).
