Auto-Black color balance), PaintShop (LLRG
processing).

of M83 (f/6.3, Meade LX10, 40 minute
total exposure [a stack of 20 2 minute images], STV guided,
binned 2x2, Processing: AIP (dark and flat frame calibration,
stacking), MaxIm (DDP:FFT-Hard, brightness and contrast
adjustments), from LBV). Seeing was bad and some haze and
clouds made for poor transparency.
Note also that PGC
48132 is just visible as the little spec of a galaxy to the
left of M83.
