minutes of exposure [2 x 10 minute unbinned L], STV eFinder
guided, from Big Bear (RTMC'03) (seeing 5, transp 4
(variable clouds), tracking 0.6X, 0.7Y @ 1 second w/ ST80 at
f/5). Processing: AIP (dark calibration and stacking), MaxIm
(DDP and brightness/contrast adjustment). NGC 5477 is
visible to M101's left at the edge of the image.Note: Negative coma is visible in this image as well.

25:25:25:25 [5 x 5 minute unbinned L, 5 x 5 minute 2x2
binned RGBs], STV eFinder guided, from Anza (seeing 7,
transp 9, tracking 1.2X, 1.3Y @ 1 second). Processing: AIP
(dark calibration and stacking), MaxIm (2X resizing of
RGBs), AIP (color combine and G2V color balance), PaintShop
(rotate to North-up orientation, LLRGB layering). NGC 5477
is visible to M101's left at the edge of the image.Note: "Negative" coma is visible in the edges that I think is from having the camera tilted a little bit.
